The more I think about it, the more I think it is a poor match style-wise for Mack. Johnson is better at applying pressure than either of the fighters which beat Mack by doing just that. He also hits harder, has faced better competition, and has more experience. Of course, he's also getting up there in years, but going by his last fight his skills don't seem to be rapidly eroding or anything.

I'd really like to see a Mack-George or even a Mack Henry fight before seeing him in with Johnson.
