Off the top of my head. Metal Gear 4 and Grand Theft Auto 4 really show what a PS3/Xbox 360 can really do. Probably the two best and most complete games I've ever played in my life.
My list could be 300 games long...
Dragon Warrior
Final Fantasy (early NES and SNES versions)
NHL 94
Morrowind: The Elder Scrolls
Halo
Fight Night 2 (best of the series so far)
Ghouls and Goblins
Civilization II and III
Ultima Underworld (if anyone knows where I can d/l this game, send me a PM asap)
Metal Gear (PS1 version)
Diablo
Soul Reaver for the PS1.
I'll add more later if I remember
Really? FN2? I thought the game stressed way too much on the haymakers.
Metal Gear Solid was CLASSIC. I honestly think that game revolutionized action games. After it, think about how many games copied the espionage/stealth system. COUNTLESS! Please tell me you played MGS 4!!
How I forgot Diablo. Nice one !
Remember the "Conflict" Series for the ps1/2 ? Cheapies but tactical squad based.
Actually all the most original games were on the spectrum and commodore 64.
The first game to feature espionage and stealth was Saboteur on the Speccy in around 1986
Here it is in all its 48 kb glory

I should've prefaced my statement regarding FN2. I've never had online play, so I mostly played against the computer. I find it ridiculously easy, so I never block, parry, or throw haymakers, I found that the computer being able to throw haymakers made it a more challenging and enduring game for me. That's why.
I have not played MGS 4, I still only have an xbox. Too cheap/poor to buy the 360.
Fuck, I totally forget what are possible my two favorite games of all time. The Warhammer series for the PS1. I'd be surprised if many people have heard of them, but they were GREAT real time strategy games with a fantasy theme. I wish I could get them for the computer or the xbox.
Two words:
Half-Life
Back in the day when I was operating a Tandy computermy favorite games were...
King's Quest III: To Hier is Human
&
King's Quest IV: The Perils Of Rosella
I never played the other games in the seties but LOVED those two games.

I could name so many games but my all time favourite would be the Command and Conquers.. Red Alert was the best...
I spent my whole christmas holidays in high school playing that game morning to night. I dreamt Command and Conquer every night..
On a side note, if you look up the credits for a game called Caesers Palace on Super Nintendo you will find my name
I helped make it..
Well..
Sorta..
I was a game tester..
I'll take credit for helping with it's making through...
