It was a close fight, Mayorga put up a very good showing.
Mosley pulled that out right from the edge. Even if Mayorga had survived the round that round would have been the sealer for Mosley. Mayorga gave Mosely a very tough time.

Don't waste your time listening to the keyboard warriors. Their opinions are generally not worth the time of day.
Mayorga put up a performance against Mosley, that up until the end of the 11th, was almost as good as Cottos was. Of course, Mayorga faltered and what happened in the 12th happened. But Mayorga showed once again that he isnt a bum, and though not always aesthetically pleasing, he can box and put on a show. No shame in that.
I had my man Mosley up by 1 round going into the 12th round but the early rounds were hard to score. As a Mosley fan its a fight I didnt enjoy watching, he should have boxed instead of trying to trade with Mayorga but thats just Shane for you. He always fights his opponents fight instead of making things easy for himself. Mosley should stay down at welterweight, at light middle he relies too much on single shots instead of combinations. Would love to see a rematch with Cotto, Magarito on the other hand I think would just have too much for him at this stage in Molseys career.
