Question for anyone who wants to answer?

How many members here have a swear filter on their system and use it? I have been noticing lately alot of posts with words that contain ** in them and just as many post with the same words without the ** in them.

I don't know how to turn it off. The word bitch is always erased on mine.

Swear words come up in all their glory for me... You change it in the settings somewhere I think I remember.. There was a time I had avatars and signatures turned off as well and when I first turned that on it was weird to see everyone's avatars. It gave everyone more personality...

I too see some swearing with ***'s so I think maybe people have just put them in there themselves.. I know I have done it on occasion..

Funny thing is, if you know there is a filter, why swear, if all it is going to do is star it out. Can not really see a point to swear on here anyway, but that is a personal choice and have no problems with others doing it. Just seems a waste of time and engery to type something that is going to be starred out or blanked out all together.
