Now we know why Khan avoided him . Pretty impressive result from Thaxton . Well done Jono!
I thought we got the K.O of the year last week with Shane Mosley but this ones gotta be a contender now.

I was at the Rumanov fight and Jonno was just getting back into things when he got that cut, totally outboxed for the fist 5 rounds mind but he was starting overpower him and he was a slick fighter Romanov.
Still a force even at his age and like Mr Hennesey said he'll always have a punchers chance even at World level.
nice to know he won, couldnt watch him yesterday was at a boxing show
Lovley KO from Johno. It was a good card altogethor i thought. Good night of boxing.

Good news for Thaxton, he seems a decent bloke and would now love to see him fight Khan for his belt and spark him.
Haven't seen the fight yet, but am getting a copy so can't wait for it
Its on youtube mate.
Rosenthal and the backstage muppet were ruining it for me. Didnt rate the kid who stopped Spartacus, didnt like his punches at all, he's getting sparked soon
Top notch finish from Thaxton, imagine if Amir was on the receiving end of that? He's still be out now. Well pleased for him.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough
Charley Burley
Yeah the backstage reporter was ultra jarring.. I was hoping someone would chin him.
Good stuff from Thaxton. I backed the other bloke but don't mind losing like that.
And Smash, Thaxton was never in the Romanov fight, if they fought 10 times Thaxton wouldn't win one.. simply outclassed.![]()
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
The guy that beat Sparticus fights like Froch, it was a good fight, who was he?
