The weight alone is going to be a huge factor, and when I considering everything else in Pac's favor (speed, youth, stamina, everything except power) I see Pac beating Oscar.
This is why it's a meaningless fight, If ODLH wins, it's because he is so much bigger. If PAC wins it's because ODLH is too far past it.

    Translation: POINTLESS

I understand people getting into the hype saying this is a mega fight, but it's not, it's a mega event that is completely pointless in the scheme of things for boxing. I know Saddoboxer, brings up this fight regardless of thread topic, and he has made it clear he is stoked, but for me, it WILL be on the sports book, but I WON'T be watching.

I personally hope that ODLH flattens PAC within 3 rounds so everyone can see how pointless this fight is.
I hope that happens so I can revel in the sweet tears of the Pac fans.

I'm hoping that PAC can defeat Hoya in a more convincing way (a UD will do) than what PBF did to Hoya... so that PAC can call PBF out of retirement... So there you go, the meaning of this Hoya-PAC fight...

So you are saying beating a fighter who should be retired in order to get a fight with someone that is retired has meaning? You are more delusional than I thought.

So you mean, you're not interested to see a PBF-PAC fight IF (BIG IF) PAC beats Hoya more convincingly than what PBF did to Hoya?

The fight between the present no. 1 P4P against the one before him is I guess a very meaningful and interesting fight...

Of course we all know that PBF is not yet in that retireable stage... He's still very prime...

This fight was made because De La Hoya is way past it and has diminished skills. Mayweather is still in tip-top form. This was what I was afraid of. If Pac somehow wins this fight, then a Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight would happen and I KNOW Pac can't beat Floyd.

Pac really needs to go back to lightweight and fight Marquez. This is the fight everyone wants. Then maybe go back to Hatton and call it a career.

BTW! Oscar already stated this isn't his last fight. His new quote is "I think I have 2 to 3 fights left in me." I forgot which location it was but he stated this in one the media press tour stops.

If Stevie Forbes can make it competitive then so can Pacman. Oscar wins a competitive fight UD.

OK... If a PAC convincing win over Hoya can't flush out Floyd from retirement then I guess we will just settle for PAC-Hatton...

Don't need ODLH for that, I would much rather see him fight Hatton anyway. OR try to conquer the lightweight division.

    Floyd's retired.

While he says he is retired, he is about as stable as Pride of Boston's last girlfriend. It would not surprise me at all to see him come out if any of these crazy hypotheticals would play out.

You can speculate all you want, but he is in fact retired.
