Born and bred in the North East of England now living in Northumberland.

In a long term relationship and have a 4 year old daughter - Katelyn

I work as a Resource Manager for Siemens IT Solutions.

I also took over a pub about 4 months ago.

With working full time during the day and running the pub spare time is limited - I'm working a minimum of 18 hours a day 6 days a week and travel to work and back on the train is about 400 miles a week.

I was involved as an amateur boxer for about 13 years or so. I fought between 8st 6 and 9st. Knee injury ended any hopes of things going further. I'd love to get into training others.

I love boxing - I've been lucky enough to have been at some great fights in this country including - Benn V Eubank, Benn V McClellan, Eubank V Watson II and most of Naseem Hameds fights. I would love to go to a big fight in America. Boxing history fascinates me and my idols are Ali and Robinson.

I'm a life long Tottenham Hotspur fan - which isn't much fun at the moment

I'm into playing pool (English) and snooker. I've played pool at county level my snooker is not as good but I'd say better than average.

I've started getting into writing short stories - it's a good way to pass the time when I'm traveling to and from work. I'd like to pursue this further.

I don't drive - never had a lesson. My brother was in quite a bad car accident when I was young and it put me off for life.

My grand parents on my dads side were Irish as was my trainer. When I was boxing he gave me the nickname Danny Boy because I reminded him of a featherweight from Ireland he knew. The nickname has stuck with me ever since. It would have been my user name on here but someone already had it so... Shamrock was born.

I have two German Shepherd dogs. One pure white male the other a black bitch.

I'm a big believer in live and let live - I always give people the benefit of the doubt and I'm the most laid back guy in the world but if you mess with my family I will hunt you down and tear out your heart.
