    Great quote from that one
Wepner gets the flash on Ali,comes over to the corner and says
"Fire up the limo,we're gonna be rich"
    His trainer says
"Id hold off on that,he's back up,and he looks pissed"

    Bert Cooper against Evander.

How boxing history might have been changed that night coz cooper had EH on the ropes and in trouble.

I remember watching that fight as a kid, back in the days when being world heavy weight champion ment something.

I thought Bert Cooper could of finished Evander Holyfield right there and then, but two things come into play here. One the ref gave Evander Holyfield a count because only the ropes held him up, in some cases the ref may not have given a count but the rest certianly did help Holyfield.

Secondly Cooper i thought was very poor on his offense after the KD, he smothered his own punches and never really landed a good power punch after that. And that gave Holyfield the time he needed to recover then Holyfield almost knocks Coopers head off with a counter right hand, then a lovely uppercut. Great Heavyweight round possibly better than Bowe vs Holyfield 1 round 10, but i think Cooper vs Moorer round 1 was better than both of those rounds i just mentioned.

Wouldn't Taylor/Pavlik 2 be more appropriate? Taylor that was Taylor's best performance in a long time.

Don't forget the split glove on Holyfield. He was smashing so many uppercuts home on Cooper in the 5th glove rips and both get a rest,Cooper spent in sitting on stool taking huge breaths.Cooper has always been so frustrating....he go's to hell & back with Ray Mercer and Michael Moorer in absolute wars but also go's out a bit passively against Carl William's,Foreman and Bowe......among others.
