Agreed,Pointless to announce them that way.Kills the unpredictability factor and equally could cause the fighter leading to get flighty feet and just wait out the clock.

it depends on the boxer... for example this fight, if Peter feels he has the stamina to complete the fight, he could just stand there and wait for Klitschko and hope to land his haymaker someway... but maybe Peter felt he has no chance at all of landing it and maybe afraid that he might get KOed eventually so it's better to quit and fight another day...
    .
If he thinks like that he should quit altogether, focus less on Completing the fight and more on adjusting & winning it.He looked stale and lost from the opening bell.....starting to wonder if there was more to the Rasta music than just his intro

i think Peter is more frustrated than being beaten (tho his face started to swell)... he doesn't have the stamina too... he can't even touch Vitali... so he quits...

I thought there was something wrong with Peters condition last week. I saw Him doing His Roadwork and a Woman pushing a pram past Him.

I picked peter to KO a rusty, old and out of shape Vitali. I feel like a bit of a dickhead now, Vitali surprised the hell out of me, after nearly four years without a fight and he just won with ease. Peter fought the wrong fight totally, why was he trying to box? There was only one or two klinches in the whole fight that I saw, so that showed how much effort me made to get on the inside where his best chances laid.

    Job well done.

P.S. I never expected the Holyfield, Lewis, Tyson, foreman, Frazier Hologram shit at the beginning, the 'Pussy Girls' or the weired moving camera that really started to fuck me off in the end.

    Good RBR by the way
