I only consider size as the only factor heavily favoring Hoya... All other factors favors PAC...

PAC is not a defensive master but I think Hoya will not be quick enough to land his more meaningful punches...

This will boil down to who is better prepared or best trained for the fight... A proper assessment could be made after the training period or just days before the fight...

I was reading some comments on YouTube and around the internet and man! The more I hear Pac fans say that PAC is the greatest ever in boxing history and how it proves that the Phillipines is better than Mexico for boxing (Hhhmph! Interesting, one boxer over a long list of Mexican champions through history), how PAC will completely annihilate ODLH, etc. The more I hear/read, the more I want to see this fight.
The worst places to hear from Pacfans are the YouTube videos featuring him in it. I've seen some of those comments too and apparently if GOD fought Pacquiao it would be a close one. But in all honesty, I wish people would just look at Pacquiao himself and attempt (and I mean wholeheartedly attempt) to block his fanatics out of their opinion of him.

Sparmate admits 'feeling Pacquiao body punches'

Team Pacquiao hopes Oscar de la Hoya will share the same sentiments Rashad Holloway had Tuesday.

Manny Pacquiao engaged Holloway, a natural light-middleweight campaigner who supposedly poses the same style and build as the Golden Boy, in his first sparring session in preparation for the Dream Match on December 6.

Holloway's comments after the tune-up at the Wild Card Gym in Hollywood should raise some eyebrows at de la Hoya's camp.

"[Manny] is too fast and very strong. I felt those body shots," Holloway, who has sparred with the likes of reigning world welterweight (147lb) champion Antonio Margarito and former world light-middleweight (154lb) king Sergio Mora, said in a report that appeared on Philboxing.com.

Hefty sparmates like Holloway were brought in by trainer Freddie Roach to simulate a de la Hoya-type opponent.

"I got six talls guys with good left hands, good left hooks to spar with Manny. I got six guys who are close to Oscar as they can get. They're bigger and stronger just like they say Oscar is," Roach said.

Buboy Fernandez, Pacquiao's confidante and Filipino trainer, liked what he saw.

"I'm happy with what he showed. And this is just the first day [of sparring]," Fernandez said. -
