Hatton was quoted in another UK Newspaper. In David Anderson's column for the mirror.co.uk, Hatton said: "If a fight with the winner of Castillo and Corrales comes up, that would be good."

Fighting Gatti would do and prove absolutely nothing and wow, what a surprise, last week,Antonio Margarito was on that list wasn't he?
based on what i saw vs collazo gatti would have an easy time handling hatton----i beleive gatti would easily knock him TFO
I really don't know why you keep posting all this rubbish about Ricky Hatton. Fair enough, he didn't look good in his last fight, and there may be an argument that he is not as good p4p as we thought before the fight. But for fooks sake, the guy has won three major world titles at two different weights in his last three fights, in the process dethroning a p4p legend in Tszyu. Arturo Gatti is a game fighter, and a legend in his own right - but in a crowd-pleasing sense, not in terms of talent. Prime for prime, Gatti isn't in Hatton's class, and as for the present moment, don't talk such shite.
