    Repeat:

Sounds to me like hitting a guy when he's down. And all because Joe needed vindication for not chosing to fight Pavlik. He could have been gracious and offered Pavlik words of wisdom. He had an opportunity to be classy, but instead he was arrogant.

There is good reason prior to Pavlik v. Hopkins people blasted Calzaghe for choosing RJJ over Pavlik: he chose an old fighter over a young one. In his own book, he says RJJ is old and past his prime.

Can't see any problems with what he is saying...He was calling Pavlik over-rated before he fought B-Hop so why would he change his mind after B-Hop comprehensivly spanked Pavlik raw.

F*ck me, Jones should start a church.

All the hoping and praying that he beats Calzaghe

Any fighter that Joe faces people would hope and pray they beat him because to be honest there isnt a fighter in the world from light heavy down that anyone could make a favourite over Joe, or even bet their life on.

The only fight out there for Joe now is Dawson and I see Joe and Hopkins beating him, he only works in spurts then wanders off around the ring, with Joes workrate and Hopkins making him second guess I see him losing to both.

It may be a bitter pill to swallow for some but Calzaghe is just very hard to beat and all the things Loew was saying about his fighter now look ridiculous, if a 43 year old who couldnt live with Calzaghes pace outworked him, Joe would make him look like hes standing still

I would be really shocked if he hung around to fight Chad Dawson.

yeah cos Pavlik has always been so complimentary towards Calzaghe.

Here's Pavlik on interview saying he's not interested in fighting Joe becuase he has very little chance of getting past Roy Jones anyway

All of these boxing rivals talk smack about each other, it's hardly Calzaghe starting it.

There is a hell of a lot of jelousy from other fighters about Joe.

I remember before he fought Lacy, Toney was asked who would win and he made a few reasons why Lacy would smash him up

Mayweather has just said that Dawson is the top p4p fighter

Hes not even the top light heavy

Hopkins tried dismissing Joe evn after their fight and now he has something to smile about he admits that maybe Joe did beat him

Other fighters and fans alike see Joes awkward style and unintimidating frame and think "he dont do nothing special, he dont look nothing special, so how does he keep winning"

He has more drive than any other fighter as his longevity has proved, only Hopkins matches for staying at the top but he couldnt match Joe when it came to actually fighting him, resorting to crawling round crying

Jones will need a crash helmet when they meet, his head is gonna look like a speedball

First, when do two wrongs make a right?

Second, you are dead wrong about Pavlik talking trash about Calzaghe. Now, his trainer, Jack Loew, talked a whole lot of trash, as did Enzo for that matter. Saying Calzaghe will have a rough outing against RJJ is very different from what Calzaghe said, and the two statements were made at very different points in time. Prior to a fight taking place, there is a lot of motivation to hype the fight by talking trash. To put a fighter down after he has been dominated when there is no chance you'll be fighting him is classless. I'm sorry. I don't see how you defend that. He could have said, "I feel vindicated for not taking that fight, Pavlik is young, he will recover and become better." In fact, did you notice what Hopkins said after the fight?

I won't lie, usually, I pull for Americans when they face British opposition. However, when Calzaghe fought Hopkins I was in a British bar in New York pulling for Calzaghe mostly because Bhop acted like a prick before that fight. This time around, I think I'll be rooting for RJJ.

Its also the opinion of all the judges he has fought in front of, maybe you should become a judge and then you can award his fights to his opponents just for the hell of it and not because they actually wan
