You will not see Pavlik fight him anytime soon. Not only is the fight far less marketable due to Pavlik's loss, but no way will Pavlik's team put him in with Abraham until Pavlik gets some confidence building fights under him now.
You might see it late next year, but Rubio will be next for sure.
Pavlik has nothing to build upon from his last fight. He saw 0 success in every round. There is nothing there for him to say "Well I could have done more of this or that". He will be very nervous going into his next fight also. He will be questioning himself for at least a couple fights.

Bit harsh slating Abraham for fighting his mandatory considering he just fought Miranda and said he'll fight Pavlik next.
Pavlik just fought Lockett before Hopkins.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.

I still think Pavlik will win but Abraham does have the power to hurt him. It's a different style matchup entirely but it is a fight I want to see. And while I don't think he will win, I wouldn't mind either of these guys fighting Raul Marquez.

I seriously feel like most people who will pick against Pavlik in this fight are still hungover from what happened in the Hopkins fight.. This will be a more relevant topic in the months to come..
Pavlik needs to learn how to move a bit better, and shorten up his punches, not always going for the knockout.. that will be the only way to beat AA..
I think that watching film on the AA/Miranda fight will be a plus for Pavlik as they both have the brawler styles.. If pavlik goes in there with that mindset he will lose to superior footwork and accuracy of AA..
Let's put it this way, if Pavlik hadn't fought Hopkins and lost, and went into the fight thinking he could brawl his way to victory, then he probably would've had a miserable defeat.. But knowing that he isn't invincible now, and that he needs to learn a few more tricks, I think he will have a much better chance to succeed if he fights AA..
I favor Pavlik 55/45..

Fenster, Christ... You know what I mean.
Abraham's most naotable fight was against Miranda... No? and Miranda busted his Jaw... Granted the fight was TOTALLY different the second time around.
Abraham showed his medal against all odds in the first fight(which I thought Miranda won)
What I'm saying is Pav has fought guys like Branco McKart, Zertuche, Taylor twice and Hopkins...
Howard Eastman and Edison Miranda are the two most notable names on his record. Raul Marquez will be the third. He has a bunch of fairly decent fighters... But names? Like 2 maybe three...
You know damn well I wasn't going after him for fighting his mandatory but simply saying that while Pavlik was fighting Zertuche, Miranda, Taylor, Taylor and Hopkins Abraham was fighting Sabastian Demers, Khoren Gevor, Wayne Elcock, Elvin Ayala and (his best name to date besides Eastman) Edison Miranda...
Hence like I said, he's, almost entirly, been fighting the Raul Marguezes of the world while Kelly has been fighting the Benard Hopkins...
FACT!
...and P4Pking, leave your high horse at home.
