There's no reason to not respect the opinion of someone who hasn't laced up gloves. Look at some of the best writers we have, Al Bernstein, Doug Fischer, Thomas Hauser, guys with a very keen technical understanding for what goes on the ring, how many of them have ever fought? As for Iole, he was great at the Review Journal for inside scoops he was better then Rafael imo because he was in Vegas. I don't know if he is still in Vegas, I imagine he is but he does write some off the wall stuff sometimes and I'm not sure he has that technical understanding I was talking about.
