Morales-Barrera, um that was the fight that got me hardcore into it. I had always watched the Tyson fights, Jones fights and Tszyu, my brother's favorite fighter was Tszyu. ANyways, Barrera-Morales was the first day my family got a computer with internet, and I went into a lycos chat room I think lol, but it was about boxing.
But it was that fight then the first fight I really got up for was Tszyu-Judah, been a very steady fan since.

It is surprising i still like boxing as the first fight i watched was Fenech v Nelson I!! After that debacle of a scorecard i should have been put of boxing forever!

I really started watching after Magee Hatton I think. After that I started watching old fights and it has deterioated into a madness of pugilism.

Ali/Spinks 1 was my first real fight I ever seen because my Father was such a huge fan,,,Was not really sure of what went on but just my Dada was upset over it...The rematch made me a fan...Again not too sure about what went on at the time but I knew Ali won it made my Dad happy so I was happy...from then on I was hooked

I really dont think so,growing up in the 70's or the 60's,Ali was god allmighty,I guess if I had grown up in the 80's it would have been Sugar Ray,Tyson
But in both those decades, boxing was still big time
There really hasnt been a boxer in some time that really captivated the way they did back then, for various reasons.Im not saying there havent been great fights or fighters, but just not that captivate factor.
To put it in perspective, when was the last time you remember a major company hiring a boxer for their ad campaign in the States?
