Going into Ali-Foreman, Ali had 2 career losses, one to Frazier and one to Norton. Foreman had KO'd both Frazier and Foreman in the 2nd round. Then Ali beats Foreman. That's the most famous one.

And how about.... Duran gets KO'd in 2 rounds by Hearns, Hearns gets beaten twice by Barkley, then Barkley loses to Duran.
