Disapointing end but what can you do . I got the feeling Silva could have ended it anytime he chose to open up . It was an injury of convinience IMO like Vitalis cut vs Lewis

I had the same feeling. Maybe Silva had a small doubt that perhaps Cote might be tough enough to last late on so didn't want to gas and take unnecessary risks, so he just did enough to take the rounds.

As soon as Cote's knee popped, Silva instantly realized he should have fought earlier and that it screwed up his game plan. The game plan? Go easy and let Cote suck oxygen for a few rounds, then unleash hell. For the fans and entertainment in general.
