So basically the only thing that sickens us more than a fighter stepping through a hand picked opposition with one goal in mind ,is to then choose the correct timing to fight the ones you stepped over previously when they were hot and fireing.

this sums up JC. I give him respect for the kessler fight, but on hindsight I don't see lacy as anything other than another amir khan. which is to say green and waiting to be exposed. also the height disadvantage (something carl froch mentioned when questioned about the ashira fight) makes the win a foregone conclusion. against BH, he just manages to outlast him and gets knockdown in the fight. BH isn't even known as a puncher, which makes you wonder if JC wasn't so protected what his stats would look like.

The Hopkins Knockdown was a flash knockdown, caught him cold. Yeh it was a good shot and JC was sloppy, but he got straight up and was fine. Calzaghe has taken some huge shots in his career and although he has been down 3 times? (in 45 fights) he has never been in serious trouble. Can't really question his chin. And as for been protected, what fighters fighting at SMW between 1997 & 2006 was he protected from?
