And bullshit Toughmans are amateur, or semi-pro or anything other then brawls for cash and fun...anywhere.

Rough N Rowdy (directly from its website)

-Must be between 18-39 yrs. old.
-Must not have more than 5 sanctioned amateur bouts.
-NO PROFESSIONALS ALLOWED!
-Must live within a 75 mile radius of event location.
-Must pass a pre-fight physical the night of the event.
-All applicants are subject to approval by promoter.
-Each bout is just 3 one minute rounds.
-No kicking or biting allowed!
-All contestants wear heavily padded 16 oz. gloves, headgear, groin protector, and a mouth piece. All necessary protective equipment is provided by the promoter.
-All bouts are sanctioned by a State Athletic Commission. The Boxing Commission appoints skilled referees, judges, doctors, cornermen, etc.
-All bouts are scored by a ten point must system.
-Contestants are scheduled to fight once on the first night. The winners return on the second night and compete in a single elimination tournament. The overall winners in each division will have fought once the first night and three or four times on the second night.
-Must be Rough N' Rowdy!!!

It isn't for kids. It is for adults and entertainment and no different then any other toughman. I just googled about 12 of them, toughman, and the rules are basically the same.

I'm not shitting on this...hey, if that is what people want to do, so be it. But it isn't close to the realm of professional. It in fact specifies NO PROFESSIONALS!! Limited amateur.

It isn't amateurs as it doesn't count for anything in boxing. USA amateur boxing out of Colorado had no affiliation. No boxing association has any affiliation with it, other then allowing some officials to partake in it. It doesn't replace it, and it is specifically for adults, and doesn't really have any progression to it. It is for people who want to jump in the ring and have a go. Which is fine...but blurring the lines between this and anything amateur and professional is B.S.

And this is essentially what the Trailer Park Series is, or was. Masked and marketed as professional boxing. A shit label for essentially a joke towards boxing. Yet Stacy thinks (or claims) he is doing a service.

And I would point out Im not affiliated with either.
If you want to do Ammies in the state of WV, almost all the bouts happen in Charleston. And most of the time,you'll travel out there, and there is no bout when you get there. For a poor kid in WV a 3 hour drive in a rust bucket, is a long way off.
So as a way to bypass the ammie circuit, depending on level of ability, people do either Rough N Rowdy or Toughman. If they have training they do Toughman,if theyre hoping to get lucky they do Rough N Rowdy.
Having a champ come through here in both, makes me the gold standard for gyms in this state,most trainers here brag if theyve got a runner up.

I've worked papers since before I was 11 to pay for the gloves on my hands and the boxing shoes on my feet. So sob stories don't sell well on me. (ha...I said S.O.B. stories)

I can get a pile of friends together and I guaranfookin-T you they could raise money for me to find people to go in someones back yard, cuz it is a bit of a shithole where we live and peeps around here like that sort of thing...and the $$ would come in handy too. But I ain't taking an easy way out.

Just quit talking about them as boxers, and professionals and so on...cuz they are not. Not by example, not by principle, and not by boxing facts. They are guys brawling on a toughman card. And they aren't kids...becuz they gotta be an adult to do it. And their fights count for fuk all...other then the dollars they can jam in their pockets and maybe some bragging rights.
