I mean if James Toney followed the Sanders-Brewster mold then maybe I would give him a chance but he follows more the Chris Byrd mold, slick defense, not a lot of power and that NEVER bodes well for a fighter getting in the ring vs Wlad. Wlad seldom loses a round much less is outboxed throughout a whole fight!

James Toney is short, fat, old, and he has no power and other than the fact that no one has outpointed Wlad his entire pro career he has every chance in the world.

I'm admitting Wlad's shortcomings so don't get it twisted, but he's gonna beat the shit out of James Toney

cant see toney having any luck against klitschko. intriguing match up but the sheer size of klitschko will be the difference.i think to beat wlad now you need power and toneys too small

    Am I missing something here?

Toney will literally get tenderized. I don't care how light Toney comes in, if Wlad corners him he's f^cked!

Wlad throws very quick punches. Toney does not stand a chance in this one and I bet that this fight won't even happen. Toney will say that the money's not right or something like that.

At least no one's dumb enough to think that Wlads chin would be a factor in this match up.
Tony is THE BEST DEFENSIVE FIGHTER OF OUR GENERATION "NO ONE KNOCKS OUT JAMES TONY" When was the last time you have seen James Tony's knee's buckle after getting hitThe man is a defensive magician The way he stands in the pocket slipping punches He has doing it in 4 different weight divisions...Sure he is old but doesen't have alot of miles on him,his fighting style will have fighting till he is 50!!!! If James comes in at a 1/2 ass decent shape it is a competitve fight James slipping and counterpunching frustrates Wlad leaving Wlad more exposed and off his game plan......You see James Tony getting all these shots since he is the most credible and well known fighter in the division(politics)

I just hope that Wlad doesn't immitate a game cock infront of Toney... that'll make he's knees buckle and knock him from one end of the ring to the other... :P HAHAHA

Toney can slip all he wants but he's going to have to come forwards moving his head and hit with power enough to hurt Wlad... he's only really good at doing it against guys he has the range to counter off the back foot... have you seen the fucking size of Wlad?

He got tagged with Rahmans jab and Wlads is 10 times better.
