This was a close fight, I could imagine people scoring the fight 115-113 Hopkins, a draw or 115-113 Wright.

I felt Hopkins did the better work in the early rounds, He made Wright miss often and was busier on the inside plus was at times landing hard accurate shots.

Wright was very wild with his work early but as the fight went past the 5th round Wright starting landing his left more often and was being the busier fighter and was less wild with his work.

As the fight went past the 9th round though Wright seemed too of tired and he went back to being wild and ineffective. Hopkins started landing the better shots and was a little bit more busy. I think the cut got to Wright more as the fight went on.

It wasn't a controversial fight. Everyone knows Hopkins won. Even Wright admitted that Hopkins won, and Winky usually claims that he won ever fight regardless of what happens.

I feel you could argue that Wright won or got a draw.

The majority thought Hopkins won it though.

i actually think if this fight was made at MW, Winky would of won this... he started adopting a new sort of style in recent fights... He was so effective with that peek-a-boo style...

Well he has a right if he almost beat Hopkins. I still say he beats Pavlik, and Hopkins if they fought back at 160 a few years ago. I honestly believe he has been as good or almost as good as anyone of the last two decades.

i only have seen that fight once and boy it wasnt a good one but i felt bhop won but i think the score cards were way off. i dont know maybe u can refresh my mind Puglistic

I feel that the fans lost 0-12.

I had a draw. There were just not enough events to keep me entertained, especially when you consider the effort of Wright vs. Quartey and Hopkins vs. Pavlik. I don't mind a chess match but the amount of holding Hopkins did ruined that fight for me.

I thought Hopkins won it clearly. It wasn't pretty but it was decisive imo. Wright is usually always an excellent technician but Hopkins had him looking off balance & amaturish! Hopkins took away Wright jab & dominated him down the stretch!!!

I'm a big Winky fan, and I found it impossible to watch the entire fight the one time I tried to watch it. I'm going to go download it now and see if I can force myself to sit through it without gouging my eyes out.
