I skated like religously everyday from 5th grade to 7th grade and actually got pretty good. I can't ride for shit now but can still land a heelflip.

I did the bong smoking or weed smoking thing, and I still do. Not sure I'm ever going to stop I think I'm a lifer but I can manage my life through it. I don't smoke and go to class anymore, and I didn't smoke at all when I had my midterms. I think I can be responsible and still smoke. So I don't think that's a phase and I didn't smoke because it was the cool thing to do either, I just really wanted to do it.

When I was little I was super into the Power Rangers, but I never got into Pokemnon which EVERYONE else did. Thought it was gay. I bought a pack of Magic cards once.

I don't know if you guys have ever heard of Tamiya cars but I was big into those for a while. Anytime I could muster up 10 dollars I would go to Hobbytown and buy them for 10.82 with tax. That's how many I bought I know the tax still, from like 6th grade. Those were really fun, really fun. You had to build them yourself and then put the batteries in and they would race. You could buy upgradable motors (I ended up springing $10 for the Plasma motor, which was black), foam tires and they came in both 2WD and 4WD with some being front wheel drive and others being backwheel drive. You couldn't control them you just had to let them go, but Hobbytown had a track where they could race. Really fun they were I wouldn't mind getting another one for nostalgia's sake.

I was waaayy into Skating from 15 to 19, I also had a death metal obsession in that time. My hair was really long and at one point or another every color in crayola box. I've had liberty spikes, mohawks, rami-tats, dread locks, devil locks, etc.

I had a few drug phases too.

I loved acid.

I was hooked on meth for about a year.

Ive not experimented with my looks or tastes in years. I think Ive had the same haircut since I was 23. When I was younger though I was a bit mad. I coloured my hair a number of different colours and started wearing an earring. I possibly looked like one of those homosexual types. Or a pirate. You may decide which.

I had a "raving" phase when I was at university as well. It was more for the drugs than the music, which I think is utter shit. Cocaine and pills and clubs most weekends for about 2 years. I spent a lot of money on that looking back. Fun for a while, but it got depressing. I would spend my sunday afternoons comfort shopping after a hard weekend partying. I was always skint.

These days Im all about self preservation because Im getting old. So just a routine of trying to stay clean. Perhaps its all just a fad. Who knows. So exercise, healthier eating, relaxation, regular bedtime and all that boring old man stuff.

I did a little raving as well, as a matter of fact I met my wife at a rave. My favorite DJ is Chris Liberator from Stay Up Forever.
