I'm not 100% sure but I'd say America def had more black people in their country before we did. We may have colonised many countries and instilled black slavery but there weren't any black people here in the UK until the 1950's.

My Granddad never even saw a black person until he was 12 years old.

AFter WW2 we encouraged black people in our former colonies such as Jamaica to come to the UK to work and fill jobs that were left vacant by those killed in the war.

We here in the UK have racism like in all countries. That said, and this is just my opinion, race seems to be a bigger isssue in the states than it does over here and in the rest of Europe.
So the Brits bail out of the UK because they want to be free, but then they go ahead and allow slavery? All of this in the name of what, religion? WOW I guess the brits were smart enough not to have any black people in their country though. So Brits are the real racist? Early Americans are in fact Brits and they went ahead and killed most of the Indians All of this from so called religious settlers? I guess now things make more sense.
You ever been to Britain Danny ?
