Does Anyone Think Ricky Hatton Is Looking Past Paul Malignaggi ?

yeah, i think he's looking ahead of Paulie "Feather gloves" Malignaggi. Or maybe that's Paulie "Ginger Beer" Malignaggi.

It doesn't matter if he doesn't have power, he is still a very good boxer at his best. He moves well and he puts punches together very well, i think he could make Ricky Hatton look silly in some parts of the fight.

Plus Paul Malignaggi is tough the beating he took of Miguel Cotto, was gruesome yet he still won rounds and made it a reasonably close fight.

If Paul Malignaggi is at his best against Ricky Hatton which i think he will be. I think he gives Ricky Hatton a close fight awkward fight.

The other dig on Feather gloves is that he takes a lot of punches, unnecessary punches, not punches absorbed for position or countering, but just stupid, gloves are dropped shots to the face.

So yeah, he's going to dance and throw combo's, but he's not going to hurt Hatton, and his defense isn't good enough to "out box" him. Hatton's going to land punches, so FG's toughness will be put to the test.

Personally, I think FG is too worried about his hair and when he puts his purse down and gets in the ring, Hatton's going to hurt him.

Ironic that I'm the American picking the Brit, and you're the Brit picking the American.

I think he is a little bit. I wouldn't be surprised if he lost. But think he'll win.

He's got the Mayweather factor this time. So even if that doesn't do much - as long as he is constantly putting pressure on Powderpuff he should nick the decision.

Granted it was only for a few moments, but when I saw him this past weekend he looked pretty ready to brawl.
