Seriously, Oasis are not a rock and roll band.

When the blues went electric with Little Walter ,Sonny Boy Williams etc it got funkier and chunkier then it turned into Smoking punchy style bar room blues with boogies etc thats more towards the tips of the roots.
The tip or the seed has to be Robert Johnson.

The seed; right here.
This man Robert Johnson wrote Baby please dont go in about 1935 aside many of the other songs you listen to by Clapton .AC/DC and many others incl the stones etc.![]()

And this man tapped the root and bent it so others followed him into rock and roll.
Little Walter:

The Lesson here endeth.
AMERICA!
It started here and we have more Rock'N'Roll Royalty here. Sure The UK has given us great bands but add them all up and they still don't come close to having as much influence as the Americans: Elvis, Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard....this list goes on and on.
Besides Alan Freed (American) gave us the name Rock'n'Roll.

Without doubt through America, black Americans then the white ones.It has been a major factor in bringing us all together as one.
In England the Stones started off playing old black American blues and had Howlin Wolf fly over for a session with them .
Most of the top British lead players cite Mick Green of the Pirates as their main influence in wishing to play.
Most people then say who![]()
