I think it makes a lot of sense for Kessler because Bhop is a big name and it may be Bhop's best option right now.

Kessler could fight the winner of Taylor and Lacy, but I thought the Froch v. Pascal winner was set to fight that winner. Who else is there? He beat Andrade, who arguably beat Bute, and Bute doesn't want a Kessler fight after suffering a knockout (even if he won the fight). Fighting Hopkins now, and if he wins, fighting Taylor/Lacy v. Froch/Pascal winner makes the most sense.

Bernard doesn't need to fight Taylor again and Calzaghe won't grant a rematch. I guess Jones, but Jones should retire.

I don't think their styles mesh well at all (does Bernard's style ever mesh well?) I am tired of the young fighting the old.

    Kessler should fight Dawson
Hopkins should fight Jones or Calzaghe then retire.

I totally agree with the idea of "out with the old in with the new." I just think that Kessler could make the fight with Dawson that much more monumental if he was coming off a win against Hopkins, and for that matter, Dawson could make the fight that much more interesting coming off a win against Hopkins too. I don't think Hopkins wants anything to do with Dawson, but he may feel differently about Kessler.

Kessler's style would work as well with Bernard as anyone's would, which doesn't say much of course.

I think Hopkins would be favorite and I think he wins a decision.

But I'd still back my boy Kess and would bet on him.
