Hey look Holyfeild had to have some fights before a title shot and he billion times better then Haye and not getting knocked out by 40 year old way past his prime Thompson which no one brings up ever like at all. To me Haye should fight few times or more just like Holyfeild had to do it so should Haye but Haye unlike Holyfeild does not have key factors of makeing it those factors being factors toughness, stamina and the most importent when you are moving up a chin.

My point is simple fighting and beating these fighters is a yardstick to the potential Haye might or might not have. If he struggles against these fighters then he and everybody else will need to re-asses his position on the heavyweight scene. I have nothing but admiration for Haye and don't want him to look silly by going into a world title fight without some sort of test along the way. I don't think it will happen against Montee Barratte but by winning at least the European belt would give Haye some sort of credibility and bargaining power at heavyweight.

I did watch Williams lose at the weekend but fighting Danny would almost guarantee Haye the British title in quick fashion. If Haye has a realistic chance at any title he needs to win these sort of titles and prove his worth against fighters like Samil and Skelton.

It will end up Haye fighting for a title and getting his arse whooped and most would say he should of at least proved his worth against a European Champion. Unfortunately winning a cruiserweight title or two doesn't guarantee a successful straight shot at a Heavyweight title.

Job Biscuit (Looking out for Hayes best interest)!!!!
