What a great card put together for this weekend:
Jermain Taylor v. Jeff Lacy
Kermit Cintron v. Lovemore N'dou
Chazz Witherspoon v. Adam Richards

I Picked Jermain as Jeff has looked awful recently.
Taylor UD for me too.
My heart says Jeff, but my head says Taylor
This is going to be two heartbreaking back to back weeks for me![]()
I have a gut feeling Lacy is going to stop Taylor. Chazz will get the swamp donkey out of there too.
So far in 2008, in ALL the fights I've been really interested in or excited about, I've been rooting for the fighters who lost the fight. Katsidis losing to Casamayor and Diaz, Hopkins losing to Calzaghe, Cotto losing to Margarito, Pavlik losing to Hopkins. My three favorite fighters right now are Pac, Pav, and Cotto. Now with Pac about to fight De La Hoya, you can easily see how boxing has depressed me in 2008...
I think Taylor can keep Lacy at the end of his jab. Taylor showed he can bounce back from the KO loss to Pavlik but Lacy hasn't recovered from the Calzaghe beating.

I was a big Lacy fan but after seeing his last few fights I dont think he is the same fighter he was and I now believe he was overrated. Actually when I used to watch him I noticed how fast combos would freeze him and it eventually caught up to him when he faced world class opposition. I see Taylor stopping him.
Wish this one had happened earlier but Taylor Via TKO but not easily.I think Lacy is on the other side but he does not lack courage and believes in his power.Taylors right hand off a effective jab will catch Lacy flush & often.
Taylor should win, but I will be willing Lacy on. The guy has had shit luck and poor performances ever since that Calzaghe dusting. Its as good a time as any to take on Jermaine though, and Taylor has struggled against mediocre opposition in the past himself.
Could turn into a decent scrap if Lacy can find some semblance of form.
Judging from Lacy's past couple of fights I think Taylor will stop him. Then again seeing as they are friends I could see it going to the cards in an uneventful fight. Cintron should win by UD or maybe even a KO. According to boxrec Richards co-holds a amateur knockout record with Mike Tyson. I think I'll take the Swamp DonkeyAdam Richards - Boxrec Boxing Encyclopaedia
im thinking Lacy by stoppage, great weekend for fights!
Lacy via 4th round tackle!!
On a serious note, I'll go with Taylor via decision.
Im not sure Lacy strikes fear into Taylor as say, Pavlik did...
..and that could in reality be Jeff's best chance of winning actually.
Underestimation on Taylor's part.
