I usually have family and friends over for major boxing matches but ALL Pacquiao fights are held at my house. If Pac gets knocked out, I will have the most depressed house in the history of sports. EVERYONE that comes to my place are all Pacquiao fans and my friends are of all different nationalities, just in case people think we're all a bunch of Filipinos.
This Pac vs Hoya fight will be EPIC at my place because we will be filled to capacity! I need to get a damn Keg, for a damn fight! I always said to people that I was setting up a funeral for our favorite fighter. But if he pulls it off, my place will be nuts!
wow...I started to rant a little bit.
(kingfrnk...I'm trying to get that 1,000 post but I'm running out of things to say!)

The first Pacquiao vs Marquez fight made my family go nuts. At first we lost our minds the first round, then throughout each round, we were all like "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!?" Then my dad and uncles started yelling at Manny on what to do through the TV.
I always thought people who gave instructions via yelling at the TV were dumbasses. THEY CAN'T HEAR YOU! But then the more I became a sports fan, the more I started to do the same...I think sometimes, it does work..

Or worst story of all!!
My great grandfather was the biggest Joe Frazier fan and when he quit on his stool during the Thrilla in Manilla, he had a heart attack and didn't make it..
I don't know why but everytime I watch a fight with the family, someone has to mention that story...

Pac's right had is "harder" and his jab is more explosive. But a left hook is a left HOOK! Doesn't matter how strong you are, it's the body's ability to work together to put the best amount of torque and leverage into the punch to land a blow that a fighter can't see coming. Left hook is devastating, and de la Hoya has one!
He's going to land it too. Pacquiao's moving his head a lot for this fight. If Pac can avoid that left, or at least make de la Hoya unbalanced, then he'll win, EASY.

Roach already said it in the Past that a 130 lbs Pac has more Pop that the 154 lbs DLH. Well the fight is at 147, Pac becomes stronger while DLH will be Drained a bit. That's why I'm not surprised of what Roach's saying. No wonder Roach is so confident of Pac Chances.
So DLH just got his Left hook & Jab to relly on. Pac learned how to deal with Jab after his lost to Morales. Pac is not hittable with the Left hook anyway, so I'm not worried about it. MAB is the best Left hooker that Pac has fought. Look how dominant Pac against MAB?
I'm so Confident now about Pac Chances. It's time to Place my bets.

power is the last thing to go guys, speed is what goes first. Look at Foreman, lacked speed but power was still there.

I think Freddie is either punch drunk or on the pipe. I really hope for a good fight.
Oscar De La Hoya hits a bag during an open workout at his boxing training camp Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2008, in Big Bear, Calif. De La Hoya is preparing for his fight against Manny Pacquiao on Dec. 6 in Las Vegas.
Some of the media people noticed a bluish discoloration (black eye?) under Hoya's right eye... This could be what triggered the "Ortiz mauling Hoya" rumour...
Hoya also looks already dried up...

ESPN says De La Hoya is already weighing 145
