Setanta are an absolute joke from a customer services standpoint. It's nigh on impossible to cancel and as to where they get their idiot staff from is anyones guess

We had Setanta earlier in the year and couldn't cancel so I just cancelled the Direct Debit. When I rang them up last week to re-subscribe they wanted £10 to clear unpaid membersehip and another £20 to re-subscribe (which I refused to pay). I was on the phone for 45mins just trying to subscribe.

IMO it was better when Sky had everything, Setanta just costs us more money in the long run. I'm cancelling after the Haye fight, I can't imagine Haye (or maybe Calzaghe) will fight again until next Spring or Summer so I'll just resubscribe again then.

mate i had exactly the same problem, i just cancelled the direct debit... Then try to subscribe again and it was a complete nitemare...
