I really wonder if the economy is a big reason for the low buys. Both Hopkins/Pavlik and Calzaghe/Jones did much worse than projected. Is it the economy? Or is it cause people didn't want to see it cause Jones and Hopkins are old? Or maybe a mixture of both? At this rate no way Pacquiao vs De La Hoya will pass Mayweather vs De La Hoya.

I agree about the economy & the maybe people didn't know/care if Joe beat a past his prime Roy.

Will be interesting to see how that UFC card does tonight with PPV #'s? A 45 year old champ vs. a guy with a 2-1 record for the UFC heavyweight title - and they say the heavyweight division in boxing is having trouble?

Yeah they should have spiced it up a little. Zab usually a fun boxer to watch but they should of had him fight someone who is at least a little better
