I somehow had gotten on the mailing list for Hayes "Newsletter" and each time it would be nothing but telling everyone how great he is...Nothing about his plans or what is in store for the future just how great he is and degrading his future opp...In one newsletter he wrote..

"I am Britain's biggest star, I will be known as their greatest fighter of all time, right now I am one of the best the nation has ever produced. I only wish I had been able to start out sooner and rid of of the embaressment called Lennox Lewis"

Who the hell cares... The man is pure excitement and was the universally recognized linear Cruiserweight Champ, not some title holder... He knocks people out, with speed, power and athleticism.. The fact that he rambles on about how great he is, I attribute to him being a model and a penchant for the nightlife and ladies.. I cant help when I look at this to think back to all Bilbo's venom toward Haye and his self admitted jealousy for Hayes looks, money etc..

I for one rather see a guy like that who does things in spectacular fashion, than a friggin robot who puts you to sleep with constant pawing, clinching and tentative movements.. Those arent the qualities I desire for Boxing's historically rich division Champion.

You're completely wrong here JT. Now a robotic, emotionless, boring Russian with a Terminator style voice, now him I can get behind, he can be a badass but still not inspire jealously amongst lesser men, but Haye I just can't stand. Not only is he blessed with ridiculous levels of 'buffness' but he's Britain's best dressed man, a smash hit with the ladies and one of boxing's biggest talent's.

Now I could accept all of this if he was humble, or if he was cursed by God with a stupid voice a la David Beckham but Haye has seemingly been blessed with every attribute and does not have any embarrassing cross to bear. So when comes on tv and just talks about how mighty he is, and how glorious, he's basically just kicking sand in the faces of all us little guys.

I have never wanted a fighter to get more of a beatdown than I have David Haye. I hate everything about him, I hate what he stands for, I just hate him.

Call it the jealous rantings of a sad and petty man if you like but right now my little black heart is beating to the beat of the Two Gun salute and I will positively cackle and rub my hands together with evil glee if Haye gets sparked later tonight.

Come on God of the Hobbit's and little folk, please smite David Haye!

I love everything about him. He's flash, brash, cocky and backs up all his talk in the ring.

I had the priviledge to meet him and get a pic and signed glove and he was a great guy, answered all my questions and took time for fans.

You really want to see Dr Slap and his lame ass brother at the top for the next few years ? No way. Haye is the man to bring back the excitement in the heavyweight division today.

Great power, great speed and a dodgy chin. It has excitement written all over.

I have no doubt that he will KO everyone along his heavyweight journey.

Barrett is no great shakes but he does know his way around a ring, he may come prepared for Davids idiotic onslaught, he will cover and counter and after a few rounds I see David tiring from his effort to impress and Monte stopping him around the 4th.

Haye doesnt belong in the heavyweight division, only fighters who have good defence and decent chins will do well moving up in to any weight, David posseses neither of these, his chin and stamina are liabilities.

Idiotic Onslaught? Have you seen him fight lately. He doesn't fight like Briggs did against Lennox. The man fights in a calm controlled manner waiting to pounce.

As for Thompson taking the punches of an 11 fight novice then Yes he did but lets remember that Thompson is well known for his toughness, durability and chin and Haye simply took that fight to early.

I'm fairly sure Haye hits harder now than he did in his 11th fight and he certainly picks his punches better.

As Tyson once said "Its the punches you don't see that cause the most damage". Haye has power and speed - great combination.
