Carl Froch 23(19 KO)-0-0, he's a young cocky bastard who thinks he's God's gift to boxing.

Clinton Woods 41 (24 KO)-4-1 he's British, he's the same age as Joe and well he's still boxing.

Glen Johnson 48 (33 KO)-12-2, he's older but he's tough and won't quit on a fight. He does have a good chin and good solid power even at his old age.

Jermain might be a good choice considering those guys but I think it may be too early for Taylor to take on such a good supermiddleweight. Tavoris Cloud is just too young at this point, wouldn't want him to be another Jeff Lacey

Your talking about Dawson's power when Roy and Bernard Hopkins have sacrificed most of their power to retain decent speed? He hits way harder then either of them do at this point in their career there is a reason Tarver couldn't get off, and that was Dawson's speed and power.

Taylor is way to young for Calzaghe , Calzaghe should fight someone much older , maybe Nigel Benn , or Iran Barkley.
They have both been stopped before and are old men .

Taylor has a bigger name than the other names you've mentioned. Clinton Woods doesn't deserve the shot after his last performance against Tarver. Johnson is too much risk and not enough reward. Froch would be a big fight in the UK, but would do little for Calzaghe's legacy. Dawson just doesn't have the name yet. Jermain looked good at 168. He went 12 rounds and didn't appear as winded as he has in the past. That said, I bet Calzaghe would easily beat him because Calzaghe doesn't slow down.

I would like to see Joe facing Taylor who had a great performance against Lacy. I believe that Taylor has shown that if he is well prepared he can be a challenge to anyone, if not ask Hopkins. However, I still see Joe winning that fight. I prefer this fight over Johnson for example who I believe Joe would beat too easily. And, Woods, no way, I don't think this guy is a match for Joe.
