Lacy only won 1 round. There were two rounds that could've been given to him if you were generous but Taylor still won those rounds IMO. The knockdown was ruled correctly, he only glanced Taylor's shoulder. I laughed my ass off when the score cards were read and Lacy raised his hands. I was like, "did he really think he won the fight?!"

I think Lacy does fight til the end but that's about it. He's a one trick pony and he has a puncher's chance (but not a good one at that).

Lacy was never more than a half decent fighter with very limited boxing skills but pre Joe Calzaghe he was so over hyped that he really believed he could beat everyone out there, worse than that tho was the fact that so many so called experts went along with it too, even our own Duke McKenzie said "Well on paper you would have to go with Lacy" I thought at the time what f*****g paper are you reading..there was never any real substance to prove this hype .. however there was plenty to subdue it after the JC fight lol..

Maybe Lacy is trying to hype a rematch?

Jeff did nothing of note as an amateur and has only picked up a vacant trinket title as a professional.

Sadly he has no business in boxing.

The Calzaghe defeat wasn't that much of a surprise to non-Americans, the Tsypko fight he also lost that and got a career-saving home decision, but i then supposed his dire performance was down to his shoulder injury so that was excusable.

But since then, we have had a laboured points win over the outrageously un-gifted Peter Manfredo and then another gruelling bum-fight against the non-entity that is Epifffffff fe fe fe fano mendoza.... which occured on like a Tuesday evening in front of 25 spectators.

How on earth they managed to sell the Taylor vs Lacy fight to TV execs i will never know as it's plain as day that Lacy is a level above Manfredo, yet a level beneath Sakio Bika.

He is a C+ fighter wheras Bika is a B-class fighter.

From here on in, any mediocre victory will still be seen as a poor showing from Lacy... and thats down to the incredible hype surrounding him.
