After reading a little article in ESPN the mag, I've found myself wanting to find more about this hyped up Joel Julio. A 5'11 power punching welterwight? that sounds as crazy as a smart Tyson.
Who knows anything about this guy?

Well I seen him twice. He is impressive, if not a little one dimensional. I would compare him to Tito Trinidad, both in body type and punching power. Not that he is or ever will reach Tito's greatness and acommplishments, but that is who he most reminds me of. He is supposed to be fighting soon in a month or two on HBO against Freddy Cuevas I believe. Cuevas who went the distance with a young Jermain Taylor but was most recently KO'd in 5 I think, by Kassim Ouma, should be a small test for Julio and let him display his power. Hope that was enuff info for ya for a lil while.
