Then this guy goes onto say that Allan Green is nowhere near his level. Are you kidding me? Allan Green would dispose of this guy IMO and that is a fight that needs to happen. Both guys are on the same level at this point and they're both delusional so it makes sense hahaha. Lacy is just a bodybuilder that was overhyped by our media because he kinda looked like a mini Mike Tyson. The guy is a decent fighter but his losses against JoeCal and JT show that he's never gonna be elite. I'm fine with confidence but not with delusion. It's ridiculous. What do yall think about Lacy?
1st of all I think your post title is a bit over the top and I an guarantee you wouldn't call the man a loser to his face

All you guys dont know much about Lacy.. Smashup said it best"Joe beat the fighter out out him"

He cant do the things that made him exciting and competitive..

    1) He was a pretty good inside fighter who loved to bang and make it messy up close... GONE!!! Now he holds

2)Animalistic aggression, fury and energy.. GONE!! Now he plodds around the ring lethargically

    3) Hasnt been able to throw his money punch(Left Hook) maybe because of lingering injury concerns...

Jeff still has all the courage and heart of a champion, he has 2 losses which is still pretty good and also had a great run for a bit as one of the most exciting fighters in the world, hell even had his own recurring spot in FHM magazine..

He just ran into a buzzsaw called Calzaghe and wasnt able to recover. Plain and simple..

SO WHOEVER CALLS HIM A BUM CAN GO KINDLY F*&K THEMSELVES

Im so tired of guys like Albsur and Trainer Monkey who is a supposed expert make threads slagging this kid off when all he does and all he ever did was come to excite the fans and put his best foot forward, that kid has showed tremendous heart and the warriors spirit time and again, when most would and have quit like Vitali Klit did with his shoulder injury, Jeff pushes forward and thats all he ever does despite the adversity.

I got nothing against Jeff Lacy i could just never get into him as a fighter, i know hindsight is a wonderful thing. But i did actually know his limitations before the Joe Calzaghe fight, and you could see them against mediocre fighters like Vanderpool, Sheika.

I do agree though you shouldn't kick a man while he is down, considering Jeff Lacy is a nice guy outside the ring. And i think he was rushed into the Joe Calzaghe fight too soon, and too much pressure was put on him when he clearly wasn't ready for someone with Joe Calzaghe's experience.

It reminds me of David Reid vs Felix Trinidad except i think David Reid had more talent, but i think Jeff Lacy should call it quits now. He isn't ever going to get over that shoulder injury, and his left hook was his best weapon. And he doesn't even throw it anymore.

Nor does he use his jab to set anything up, and he's basically just a one armed fighter now because all he throws is a predictable right hand. I think Jeff Lacy could of been a better fighter had he not been rushed. He could of improved on defense, learn to set things up with the jab. Also learn how to use angles on the inside.

But its a lost cause now which is a shame considering its hard not to root for Jeff Lacy. But this is just a simple case of a young fighter being rushed/pressured, taking a beating against an experienced champion and never recovering, nothing new though we've seen it so many times. Fernando Vargas, Davey Moore, David Reid ETC.

Its like people forgot what made him exciting, the sheer agression and determination, thats what won most of his fights, I knew he was limited and had a porous defense, but the kid was always gracious and kind out of the ring, always prepared 100% and tried to excite. Thats why I am a fan.

To see him lose his left hook, aggression and inside fighting ability is a heartbreaker as a fan of his.. Like I said most people forget what Jeff brought to the table and how he was able to cover over his limitations.. Now he cant
