Ok First off 50% of what Ricky used to be wins this fight

Paulie cant punch for shit so Ricky will run through face first and smash his body to bits forget any shoulder roll this will be all out pressure I think he stops him by the 9th round

Miguel Cotto walked through Paul Malignaggi shots aswell and he still received a very tough fight. If Paul Malignaggi can be in that kind of form again, it will be a very frustrating night for Ricky Hatton.

Paul Malignaggi is also good on his feet so its not just eating punches, just to land your own. Ricky Hatton has to use his quick feet to cut the ring off, and i would like to see him use angles on the inside aswell. Also i would like him to use the jab again, to close the distance and set his punches up.

And i really hope he still isn't leaping in with shots, because thats what got him in trouble against Floyd Mayweather, Juan Lazcano. And say what you want about Paul Malignaggi's power, but he can still knock Ricky Hatton down on a quick counter shot if Ricky Hatton gets too wild. Which showed against the very tough Lovemore N'dou.

I think Ricky Hatton wins by 12 UD though and i will be rooting for him all the way here.

Showtime recently replayed an old Malignaggi fight and it was either against Ngoudjo or N'dou and while Paulie "the tickler" Malignaggi show great footwork and work rate, he was still taking stupid, unnecessary shots to the face simply because he didn't keep his guard up.

If he does that against Hatton he's going to get his bell rung, or as the Brits say "get sparked".

Yes but he wasn't on form then thats the difference, i expect to see a 100 percent Paul Malignaggi tomorrow night. Considering the venue and the name he is up against he will be well up for the fight, i don't see how any fighter couldn't be.

One last thing i don't really think Ricky Hatton has the kind of power, to KO Paul Malignaggi with one shot. Only to the body which could happen, but i honestly doubt it Paul Malignaggi mai look like an 80s boyband reject.

But he is surprisingly tough and i expect this one to go the full 12, with Ricky Hatton winning a decision.

I'm a Ricky Fan, But I just see Paulie boxing the shat out of Ricky. Don't be surprised if Paulie stops him on cuts.

Interesting point re the cuts as it had crossed my mind that tho PM dont clout hard he does look like he slashes shots in which can cause anyone trouble ... but hopefully not RH tonight lol..

I think with the new trainer, Ricky will be a little more defence minded. And while certainly not outboxing Paulie, he won't just be like a blunt hammer coming in over and over trying to land his body shots, and getting his face torn up in the process..
Cuts are always a concern though, especially when Ricky fights guys with fast hands..

    Let's go Ricky.

He looks lean and fit and I'm glad, he needs speed in this fight

I think Ricky's power will prove key and he'll win a points decision.

Paul Malignagi is the typee of opponent you should fight only when your at your best, hes gonna run and turn anmd flick everything out, if Hatton doesnt look better boxing wise than he did against his last opponent I think he might lose a decision.

Hatton is very strong at this weight but Paulie wont be there for him to maul, I dont think Cotto is as strong as Ricky but is Ricky jaded, his last fight said nothing because he waas gonna look crap against anyone, getting back down to weight and after a big loss, if Mayweather has trained Ricky well hopefully he does stop Paulie and hes very capable of it.

If he does anything but stop Paulie I would be dissapointed but I dont expect it.
