I hate Oscar. He doesnt have any belts, he doesnt own a division and yet he parades around looking for fights with smaller guys at every opportunity. He is a fraud and a phoney and just wont go away. Oscar has little relevance beyond the amount of money he can make.
And he is ORANGE. And looks like The Joker. Really want Pac to shock the world and be rid of the menace to boxing that is ODLH.
Pacman vs Hitman would of been way better...but oscar is gonna damage pacquiao so bad it is not even funny.

Oscar resume is as good as ANYONES. As far as him fighting smaller guys....that is complete bs. Aside from Pac...when has he fought "smaller guys"? Forbes was a TUNE UP fight for Floyd (because Forbes was a slick, counter punching opponent to help him get ready for the failed rematch). So don't hate...you don't like him...fair enough. But obviously plenty of people still due...considering he is still the biggest draw in boxing. He never embarrasses himself in the ring AND he not only generates $$$ for himself...he generates the biggest paydays for his OPPONENTS! No one held a gun to Pac's head and said fight Oscar. Pac had plenty of great and lucrative fights at 130 and 135. But he wanted the biggest payday of his life. It takes two to tango. Same goes for Hatton and anyone else who would sign up in a sec to fight Delahoya. It's a business...and fighters know that Oscar is damn good for business. Considering Oscar has never ducked anyone in his career...and is one of the big reasons boxing is so popular...calling him a "fraud and phoney" just comes across as sour grapes.

Even Mayweather was a smaller guy. Then Forbes, the tune up for.....wait for it.....Manny Pacquiao (spelling?). And then once Pac is disposed of...where next....of course, the cash cow that is Ricky Hatton!! Lets say Oscar beats Pac and then makes a fight with Hatton. That will have been the fourth fight in a row Oscar has used careful matchmaking to maximise his earnings potential against smaller men. Hatton should in no way accept a fight outside of 140. If Oscar wants to tango with Ricky its about time he makes the sacrifices and evens the playing field somewhat. Hatton is a huge draw himself.
Oscar might have fought a lot of good names but he hasnt done a damn thing in half a decade.
If Oscar really wants a fight then he should go off and fight Cotto or Margarito. I would be very impressed if he did. But no, Oscar wants to minimise the risks and milk the public for what he can.
He is a good businessman, but a cynical and false fighter these days.
I have little time for the little orange freak.
Come on Manny!!! A completely improbable win, but one that is neccessary for boxing IMO.

I don't think he'll go for Vasquez. Maybe Donaire! He wants to take out all the Filipinos!
I also said this a while ago but Oscar may want to make history again and fight a woman! Maybe he'd fight someone around his weight if it was a woman...
Holy Crap Bruce! Could you imagine that conversation?! The both of them would just sit in front of their computer screen thinking "Is this guy f*ckin serious?!"

Ricky will have to move to welterweight to fight Oscar. No one is bigger than ODH, whatever weight he dictates they fight at, Mayweather at 154 and Pac at 147. Ricky will get slaughtered by ODH.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

I would have preferred to see Pac v Hatton as well... That was talked about originally a lot more than ODLH and everyone said it would be a good idea.. They are both about the same size and the styles would have been great. Both can fight 12 rounds.. I could never say that Hatton would destory Pac... But while 99% of us was saying that Pac v Hatton would be a good fight, still there were a few that said Pac would get hurt against Hatton... NO ONE wanted Pac v ODLH. Everyone said it was totally stupid.. And while the fight is on now and i'm allowing myself to get into it a little, and have even probably more stupidly than the fight itself, have called Pac hurting DLH, I still think it is one of the stupidest matchups of the last 5 years... If Pac competes well and makes it a brilliant fight, then well, the powers that be knew better than me and most other boxing fans here..
But as it stands, until and possibly after December 6, Pac v DLH is totally stupid and I would have been a billion times more excited over Pac v Hatton... And I don't think Hatton would Destory Pac... Hatton would have a few eggs around his eyes as well and Prolly a fair share of cuts as well....

I agree that Oscar is a businessman and its part of the business to go for the big money fights.and he's not fighting bums either.but the fact that he ducked Margarito plus the enormous size advantage against little Pacquiao pretty much made him a douchebag these days.I think if he had atleast went for a rematch against Floyd or a fight with Hatton we would get more praise and not these stuffs.I like Oscar but I think he kinda deserves it.
An empty can is always noisy.
Who has Oscar foughten who is smaller are you kidding me? JCC, WHitaker, Mayweather, Forbes, Mosley, G. Hernandez, Gatti, Leija.
Oscar has also foughten guys bigger than him Sturm, Hopkins, Vargas, Mayorga, Castillejo.
He has also foughten great fighters his own size Trinidad, Quartey, Yuri Boy Campas, Camacho, etc Oba Carr was decent at that time also.
