Really? I thought McGirt pulled the plug too early. I understand Paulie was taking some shots but I've seen people take worse (Maybe because Vera took a ridiculous beating and no towel was thrown). Paulie had no shot of knocking Hatton out but there's a lot of pride in finishing the fight on your feet. Paulie was taking some punishment but by in no way career threatening blows.
