Referee Toby Gibson Dies. RIP

I hope more info comes out about how and why this happened. I hate to think that it could be boxing related. That picture of him smiling and holding up M. Hatton's arm is touching.

You never know what someone is really thinking...


Also, I hope it didn't have anything to do with a certain thread about the end of the world. (I cope with tragedy by blending poor humor and Xanax.)

Sad day for the boxing community...I think we forget at times that it takes more then just the fighters to make this sport what it is.....

Toby was a quality ref who always did his job exceptionally....My thoughts are with his family.....

Suicide...Teribble...Makes you wonder exactly what could be so bad that one would do such a thing and leave his loved ones behind....

I remember Mitch Halpern and his suicide...sad time indeed

Oh my God. I know him. I met him at the Hall and he was as nice a guy as you could meet. I have his photo on my website with my wife and. This is just plain horrible news.Shocking, Toby was not very old.
