Oh I hear ya,Home made is the only way to go.I do them with minced onion.But have learned to be VERY careful with the mustard.....make sure is is still good and fresh.....Or else,hope you are not leaving the house for a spell Lol

yo i made some steaks for me and my fam, which is only me my sis and mom & dad. and they came out perfect and the sides were ranch seasoned potato wedges mmmmmmmm. now that im full and watching some college football and in a few hours im a see pac get his ass handed to him.

Your food in the south I don't like. For the most part anyways. I love southern barbeque it's the best there is the best barbeque places we have out here are korean and hawaiin. Southern BBQ is great, pulled pork or great barbeque chicken are not available for purchase out here it sucks.

Other stuff though I just don't like. I want to describe it but I have to just lay it out, list the stuff I don't like and ask questions I'll defend my picks. But I don't like a ton of tihs stuff from the south.

Glazed ham
scalloped potatos
deviled eggs
sweet potatos
baked chicken
stuffing
grits
creamed corn (fucking disgusting)
biscuits and gravy
buttery vegetables (lima beans, string beans)

GRAVY, in the south gravy is on EVERYTHING. It drives me nuts I hate it. The only gravy I like is the gravy that you get when you make chopped steak or salisbury steak. It's fucking great ubt in the south there is this thick gravy on EVERYTHING. You aren't allowed to have mash potatos without gravy on it. Here we put sour cream in our mash potatos not gravy. Gravy is so overrated, but that one gravy is delicous. That might be what annoys me the most that gravy shit, that was a trigger right there.

yea i always tell my friends that the best food to me is in the Northern states and maybe on the westcoast IDK i havent been there since i was real little. but u are right about the BBQ we have the best there is. but the best other than BBQ is soul food. theres this place called Shannons that serves nothing but soul food and is packed every sunday. i love it its one of my favorite places to eat. and WTF how is gravy overrated lol. i dont put it on everything just mash potatos and chicken fried steak. chicken strips i usually eat with ranch or BBQ sauce. but i do eat ranch with almost everything.

They put that crap on sausage,frys,hell I have a hard time figuring out what they dont put it on.
I like gravy,but with white gravy,I really have to be in the mood for it.
This is why I dont eat at Waffle Houses,or southern Crackle Barrells if I can help it. My arteries clog just pulling in to the parking lot.

well fries are potatos and some people put bits of sausage in gravy anywhere not just in southern states. i could understand if they put gravy on fish or a burger or something but fries and sausage are understandable.

Well I don't like in Pittsburgh where the dumbasses serve fries ON TOP of sandwiches! And do they give you a plate? NOOOOOO they give you wax paper.....what the fuck?!?!?!

i take it u seen that on the travel channel huh. but those sandwiches look really good though especially when they but them inside the sandwhich mmmmmmm looks good to me.
