I felt really sorry for Tony Martin when he got put away in prison.After all he was only protecting his home and wife as well as his own life.It was really big news when it first happened over here in the u.k.There had partitions in all of the papers relating on "WAS HE" or "WAS'NT HE" right to shoot the robbers who trespassed on his property?And he was well backed on the votes from most of the british citizens of "HE WAS" right to do what he did!After all if you happen to cross into someones land or property without they(the owners)permission then you suffer the consequence of whoever owns the land your on!!
I mean personally if i was woken up to have robbers in my house then im taking the law into my hands no matter what.I have no gun,but i'll be using a baseball bat or a hammer handle to cause real damage to the robbers.

Protect whats yours at all cost i say!

Thats real sad story man. If that thing happen to me i do the same. Id rather shoot those bastard that can hurt my family or somebody else. Trespassing is already a crime...

It was a while ago since it happened but i do know that the surviving robber went to court and charged Martins for compensation for his injury(s).I cant remember if or how much he won,but he has a fooking cheek

Of course I would point out,the one he killed he shot in the back,and both were fleeing out a window when he shot them.
I dont feel particularly bad for either of them, but its not as cut and dried as the original story makes it sound.

The way they made that story as if he was the victim is laughable. As Trainer Monkey said that he shot the man in the back as he was running away. He went to he sisters house after and did not mention it. The civil action was dropped because it had no merit. There is one thing defending your family and another using it to shoot and kill people because you are p***** off with life.

Yep,he got out and quickly got busted on his own
