I love the 1980's-ness of the movie, anti-Apartheid pictures, Bill Murray drinking Stoli and Tab...hahaha it's great, I've grown a fondness for drinking vodka and tab during this holiday season because of this movie...it's not as horrible as you might think

I'll put some more up later but I figure we'll all be putting up virtually the same movies so I'll leave a few for you to describe.

These two are by far my favorites!!

Love Scrooged! As Lyle said, Bill Murray is at his best in this movie, along with What About Bob and The Man Who Knew To Little, of course.

But my fav is A Christmas Story. I have watched that movie at least 100 times!!! Either TNT or TBS does the 24 hour marathon of this movie starting on Christmas Eve night, and I sit there and wrap gifts while watching it. Then I'll watch it the next morning, then my mom has it on when I go over there. I never get tired of it. Plus of course, most of it was shot in Cleveland, so that adds to it.

They actually now have a play of A Christmas Story that is playing in Cleveland. A friend of mine went last week, and he said it was really good. Someone even bought the familys house from the movie, and turned it into a museum!! The restored it to look just like the house did in the movie. The place gets packed during this time of year.

I love Bad Santa!!! Billy Bob is great in that movie!!

The "fuk stick" line had me rolling, as well as......

"FUCK ME SANTA, FUCK ME SANTA, FUCK ME SANTA!!" Three words that I thought that I would never hear together. Classic.

I also like Elf with Will Ferrell.

I agree with Lyle. Scrooged is a quality flick and it never gets tired if you watch it once a year around boxing day. Really brings home the christmas message for me.

All the Rankin/Bass films are great!!!!
    Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer
    Frosty The Snowman
Frosty's Winter Wonderland (not to be confused with the awful Frosty Returns)
    Rudolph's Shiney New Year
    Twas The Night Before Christmas
    The Year Without Santa Claus
Santa Claus Is Comin To Town
    ETC.

But a couple of off the wall ones that I love are as follows

The Muppet Family Christmas - it stars ALL muppets, from The Muppet Show, Seasame Street, and Fraggle Rock. It's a classic and one I have watched every year I can remember.

MST3K: Santa Claus Conquers The Martians - HILARIOUS...here's a clip
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LNu__vWHQ1k

The South Park Christmas Episodes - Mr. Hankey, The Christmas Carol Episode, The Woodland Critter Christmas...all CLASSIC!

Ernest Saves Christmas....hahaha oh that Ernest

    And some classics:
    It's A Wonderful Life
Trading Places (yes it's Christmasy and also covers New Year's as well)
George C. Scott in A Christmas Carol
Mickey Mouse in A Christmas Carol
    A Christmas Story
The Grinch That Stole Christmas (cartoon)
    Merry Christmas Charlie Brown
