With Herbie Hide's history, I reckon it's more likely that he talked up the primary approach by Sports Network to get some attention, and get his name over the press once again, without ever really seriously considering going in for the fight on four days notice, because to be fair....who would go in with so little time to prepare a gameplan etc?
