I completely agree with Hopkins assessment of this fight.
That's a crap title though.

I'm not to sure, Oscar couldn't KO little Stevie. granted he's more defensive than Pac, but still Pac does seem to be listening to the advice in the corner judging by his patient destruction of Diaz, who of course has nothing on Oscar.
Thing is, IF Oscar Ko's Pac, big fucking deal, it's the minimum he should do, and it'll only set up another bullshit fight with Hatton.
The fact that Pac was able to hit Diaz at will, but still took nine rounds to finish him, is a reason i so strongly fancy Oscar for this fight.
Also.. I think Marquez was controlling, for the majority of the fight, and hurting Pac with the left hand earlier in the year. If Oscar can emulate Marquez success, with the added power, Pac's had it.
I agree the fight don't mean much.. unless Pac wins.

Steve Forbes has arguably the best chin p4p in boxing, so I don't think this reflects too badly on ODLH.
I felt B-Hop beat Joe 114-113, but it was a fight that could easily go either way, and I though PBF beat Oscar 116-112. Oscar didn't deserve to just get points for throwing shots that weren't landing. Let's face it if a guy got a decision over an opponent who landed almost twice as many power punches, there would've been far greater uproar. Oscar often seems to do better on the cards than his performances suggest, although he woz robbed in the 2nd Mosley fight.
Also B-Hop is obviously gonna say this, & its not quite like his fight vs Pavlik, seeing as all logic would suggest Oscar SHOULD KO a guy who started his career at 106lbs. He's not exactly a beacon of impartiality. He would say the same if Oscar was fighting Margarito (who I think Oscar WOULD beat), even though you would have to be King Kong to drop him.
