McCloskey looks absolutely chuffed with that one, and I think for Lynes it was the elusive style of McCloskey that was decisive. Lynes had him rattled in the second, but couldn't land enough to get him in trouble again.

Great for the northern irish youngster, and no doubt he'll be up with David Barnes soon enough to give us another look at him.

Thats the one thimg about McCloskey, he's not all that young.

But of all the Irish fighters he's the hungriest imo.

Nice rbr, McCloskey stopped him eh? Didnt see that coming, he should really get a nice ranking boost from that and fight Barnes or Branco I would think or maybe Lauri.

He seems to be progressing well, gonna need to keep up the televised bouts, he's already 29 years old. Honestly he's prolly the slickest thing to come out of the UK for a few years now, he seems to see punches coming very well. Good win for him.
