If Pac came out flat, and took a beatdown from Oscar...and people were posting this sorta stuff, I'm fairly sure you and many others would be calling them names and/or laughing at them.
So, erm, yea.
And I've rewatched the fight numerous times already. Oscar was flat, and got his ass beat. And Roach was right, he had no trigger to pull. And I don't care the reason...but it was not some kinda fix. He got pummeled. Badly. Maybe go rewatch it if you can't get your head around it.
If Pac had come out and, despite a hall of fame career, big height, weight and reach advantages, fought like he'd never seen a boxing ring before quitting on his stool after 8 rounds AND was the owner of a promotional company that stood to make SQULLIONS of dollars putting on a fight between his opponent and a ridiculously popular Mancunian, then, yeah, I'd be saying the same things.
So, erm, yea.
Where was the effort from Oscar? Where was the fire? Seemed to me like he was happy staying on the outside eating leather.

He looked like he let Pacman in most of the time, I was shouting at the bloody screen, I don't know it just seemed off to me compared to his other fights. I mean he quit on his stool in 8 rounds, sure he was taking a beating but he didn't try anything different, it was frustrating to watch.

I felt that sort of frustration when he was fighting Floyd, and at some stages he was executing a winning game plan, and then without much pressure from Floyd, he would just drop the game plan and not execute anything... Tonight I mean, he did absolutely nothing at all. He didn't have the arsenal to knock over a dead cow... You would think he would at least throw a bit more..
I felt the same with with Jones in his later fights.. If he threw some punches he could have turned the fights, as well as take something off the offense of their opponent.. But an opponent who isn't fighting back isn't hard to beat... A good defense really does need to be a good offense.. Or at least, ANY offense.. And the fact he offered little if ANY offense tonight pretty much secured his fate regardless of what Manny did...
It's frustrating as hell watching a fighter not fight back.. But obviously mentally he was done...

No way Oscar threw this fight , that theory is totally flawed.
Oscar makes more money from fighting Hatton himself than he does from promoting a Pac Vs Hatton fight. The theory of him throwing the fight for financial gain is just stupid.
He'd make more money in the long run by beating Pac

Salty is right, he didn't try anything different at all.
What was Beristain saying in the corner?
I said to my friends after the third round "Oscar's not trying".

He's a professional boxer, he's used to the abuse. There's no way he'd quit on his stool in the humiliating way he did for money. Surely if he's as greedy as people make out he would have tried to beat Pac to get $$$'s fighting Hatton...
ODLH is a richer man if he beats Pac!
Past it, yes. Weight drained, yes. Ending your career like that for money? NO WAY!
