I think Kessler by decision also - he is a classy boxer and would expect him to box a decision. Don't think he KO's Froch as he has a fairly solid chin.

yeah because that's exactly what someone who comes to Wales to fight one of the best in the world does...

Kessler will fight him if its right, and he will i believe stop him. Froch is ok, some day he maybe even be good, but he will never be anything more than that. He is easy to hit, stuggles when the pace is pushed. He looked shocked and confused when pascal took his best shots early on and hit him back.

If pascal didn't fight like such a muppet, kept a tight defence and stayed focused he could of stolen that, but he caved in towards the end for the stupid fight he was fighting, not because Froch broke him down or is a special fighter. I give Froch credit though, he took some good hits, never give up. But he didn't look great at all.

Pascal is not a huge puncher. Yes, he was landing bombs, and once or twice seemed to have Carl stunned and on his heels, but was so gassed he couldn't follow up. Carl has a solid chin for sure, but when you take shot after shot on the button, it's only a matter of time. Even if he doesn't get knocked out, that doesn't mean he won't be stumbling around like a bloody fool, same as ODLH was against Pacquaio.

He needs to develop a defense, otherwise he will be talking like Evander Holyfield by the time he's 35

Everyone is saying Froch has an awesome chin because he took alot of flush shots, well so did Pascal who has been shaken up a few times before, maybe they just dont punch very hard

Also, Pascal aint a big puncher to start with

Froch has just had his first competetive fight and he has alot of things to work on and at 31 I think hes too long in the tooth to suddenly get quicker, tighter and more skillfull.

If kessler has any brains he'll make a unification match, take Froch now before he has a chance to learn against the upper level fighters he now has to face.

yeah, and that was back in 2007; It is now almost 2009. Although it took guts to go to Wales, you have to admit, that Kessler has been an absolute pussy since losing that fight.

He ducked Miranda, after Miranda agreed to every one of his diva like demands. And since getting destroyed in Wales he also fought only garbage fighters and defended the dubious wba "regular" title.

    KESSLER DUCKS MIRANDA!!!!!

There are a few people in this that keep repeating this.

If you are one of these listen up for once....:

Kessler's team wanted Miranda recognised as the top opponent for Kessler first so that they could make the fight for a belt. As such, the team lobbied the WBA and surprise suprise Miranda got ranked as top contender in the next rankings about 10 days after Miranda's offer. Kessler having worked hard to get Miranda ranked now made his team a better offer. Only to find that suddenly Miranda didn't want any of it

Well Kessler want so etablish a name in the US, in order to fight bigger names in US, he first have to face somebody like Sakio Bika, Andre Dirrell, Allan Green or Andre Ward ( All fighter based in US) to qualify for a big fight Anyway I think that would be waste of talent then it is a noname ranked WBA boxer next time. (source is a Danish paper)

Then I would prefer he took Froch out.

Anyway I dont think Kessler will give the bogus WBA title up, in Denmark WBA is ( or was) regarded as the best. So we can look forward to see Kessler in the ring with no-names in the future also

I voted Froch on the basis of what folk reckon on boxrec - as in, Professionals whom have fought or sparred both men.

There aint one who sides with Kessler in this.

Darren Barker said that Kessler was quite easy to outbox. Sure he is a hennessy fighter, but i feel that he is pretty straight laced.

Every time a fighter ducks another fighter, there is ALWAYS an excuse. And Kessler's excuse is just as lame as the rest.

Honestly, people talk about fighters being changed after just one bad fight. I think Joe C. beat the courage out of him.

So you're saying that he's planning on copying Calzaghe's career path

The fight makes 100% perfect sense. Kessler needs a decent name after a couple of confidence boosters and Froch is stepping it up and wants these big fights. I voted Kessler TKO, he would mash up Frochs nose.
