It wouldn't work for everybody, just stylistically, a guy like Zab is too flat footed though, with his defensive liabilities and style he should move more.

Perception vs Reality
Alot of guys are still up on their toes, but most of the names you get to see all the time are older fighters, they have to sit on their punches more. They dont have the stamina to bounce around the joint.
A serious power punch comes from a flatter foot stance

I think Oscar has forgotten he has any toes!

I was wondering this during the Roy/Joe fight. Roys best attribute used to be his footwork.
Couldn't agree more.
A lot of power can be used using your legs from having your toes on the ground.

Right. Power punches must be firmly anchored and that anchor comes from feet firmly planted on the ground. You can still throw power punches even while moving if you can sort of lean on those punches when they land on their targets....
...but...
...you risk losing your balance on the way, especially if you miss...

Once in awhile, get outside in fresh air, take a deep breath & with a deep sigh, let out all the things that's bottled up inside you & be free, & you'll get a glimpse of nirvana.
Power comes from balance and Technique, balance being the main player the nuerons perform better
