When Pac beat Diaz, I was still iffy about a possible Pacquiao/Hatton fight. After seeing Manny fight Oscar, I know his speed and power came with him to that weight.

If the speed and power are there, Hatton would be in for a long night. I think it's a mouth watering fight. Imagine Pacquiao fighting a swarmer/brawler? Manny likes to get hit beacause it triggers him to throw back. Now I'm just worried about how Manny can deal with someone backing him up with aggression.

This fight would be huge! Pacquiao and Hatton has two of the biggest followings in boxing. This forum would be at war IMO. The arena come fight night would be electric! Imagine the Hatton song with "Manny" being chanted in the background?

Any chance this fight gets put in Madison Square Garden or Atlantic City? I know it's a longshot but I would love to be a car ride away for this one...

Nah, I'm pretty sure if this one comes off, it will either be in Vegas or Wembley, can't see them putting it in either of those 2 you mentioned because it just doesn't make the same sense in financial terms

My man Drago! I think JMM and Pac are just made to fight each other. It's his style that gives Pacquiao problems. Any weight, those guys put on a classic!

I've been wanting this fight to happen for ages and was really glad when he beat Hoya knowning that Hatton would fight the winner of the Hoya vs Pacman.I would like to see Hatton win,but i could see Pacman unloading hard shots throw Hattons defence!I could also see Hatton if not both of them getting bad cuts around the eyes.Apparantley i've read that Hatton will fight Pacman in at the Millium Stadium in the summer of next year!!Im there LIVE to watch this one. It'll be a propper slug fest

I think this is a very close fight I haven't made up my mind yet

Hatton closes distance very well and if he can take the shots going in I see his body work being too much for pac. See Pac-JMM, JMM hurt Pac to the Body but couldn't close him down to capitalise

But this is all depending on weather Hatton can take Pacs punches and speed on the way in

One things for sure this will be a great fight, I would love to see this at Wembley but its a big gamble to try and fill it, I fancy Las Vegas June 09

    I am already packed

    I voted Hatton
    1. Hatton is the toughest fighter Pacman will face yet.
    2. Look at Pacmans opposition old Erik, old Barrera, Marquez did fine imo he won the one of the fights and tied the other,Diaz? De la hoya?!need i say more?
3.Hatton is the hardest puncher he will face, Marquez has rocked him before and so did Morales
4.Hatton is incredible body puncher, Morales and Marquez have hurt Pacmans body before stopped him cold on his feet while he was throwing punches.
    5. Pacmans gain of weight isnt on the clear yet, what I mean is yeh he looked great against De la hoya at 147 BUT De la hoya juzz stood there did not 1 thing. so Pacman went all out, Hatton wont be that easy.

Dont get me wrong The Pacman is beastly, I juzz think that Hatton is his biggest test yet.
    Hatton wins TKO.

Note: I am expecting alot of headbutts in this fight.Pacman has a BIG HEAD. He always headbutts people.

I have to go with Hatton, I thought Malignaggi would outbox him but as soon as he was hit he was discouraged. I say hatton wins, maybe too strong for Pac, but I know for a fact Manny could use his speed to outbox him. We will just have to see on the night, a good clash of styles this.

I am going to have to take PAC in this one. Pac looked great at 147 so at 140 he should look even better. Manny's speed will once again be the key factor in this fight even though Manny is going right into a division where Hatton is supposed to be the king of kings. Hatton will get pounded over and over again by Manny's quick hands, it's no secret that Hatton is still leading with his face and will be open for what ever Manny throws at him. It should be a back and forth slug fest at times as both fighters are just crazy like that but and I am going to kinda get off track here but if anyone here thinks that because Hatton beat Paulie Malignaggi and that some how, some way makes this the official guide line as to why Hatton will beat a faster Manny think again. Paulie after getting beat down by a one handed Cotto, has never been the same, Cotto removed any similarities to Hector Camacho Sr, that Paulie had. Cotto took away any flash Paulie had left. If PacMan comes into Hatton's division and takes his crown, we have a clear p4p king. I think Manny will be strong enough to even wrestle with the life of the pub abusing in vice fatman

Why do people Keep saying that What Pacman did to Oscar De la Hoya was incredible?
Oscar didnt fight back, a punching bag would of fought more because unlike Oscar the punching bag SWINGS BACK.

    Someone answer me.

Floyd could have done the same to Oscar had he chosen to do so but Floyd has become a very scared fighter who is just happy with a decision at times. Manny will once again show the world what a top dog is made of and he will show the world what a real arse kicking will look like. Sure Floyd knocked out Hatton but the fight was boring other than the knock down face first to the ring post. Manny will put on a clinic and Floyd should have done the same with Hatton. Had it not been for that lucky punch from Floyd, he would have gone on to decision Hatton too.

There is no way in hell that is a lucky punch.

That's the normal reaction of people who thought PAC will lose to Hoya but for those of us who picked PAC to defeat Hoya, picking PAC over Hatton is a much easier decision to make...

Talking about pre-fight conditions, Hatton definitely is the lesser threat compared to Hoya... In the Hoya fight, PAC is a 2 to 1 underdog but now in the Hatton fight, PAC is the 2 to 1 FAVORITE... BIG pre-fight difference...

I said it before and ill say it again IF Oscar fights it will be a good fight.
I had no prefference.-if thats how you spell it.
BUT Oscar DIDNT fight back.So of course Pacman won.
Anybody can hit a punchin bag, I dont get as much credit as Pacman did for doin juzz that on that fight.
My question was...Why do people think Pacman beating Oscar de la hoya was so incredible is Oscar didnt fight back?
Any1 can beat someone who doesnt fight back, henceforth my punchin bag metaphor.

For me it's a pcik em fight, and a potential classic no doubt.

I picked Hatton purely because I'd want him to win. I'm so happy Pac beat Oscar in the way he did because now if Hatton beats Pac he'll get the credit he deserves.

But has Pac ever been in with anyone that has the all round power that Hatton has? I don't think so. I'm discounting ODLH beacause he never once imposed his size or power on Pac.

Hatton surely has a strength advantage??

Dude, you should do what us Bits do. Book a flight the second the fight is announced and come over and see it. Whack it all on the credit card and turn the trip into a vacation like we do.

20 years from now would you rather remember watching the fight on PPV at home or with 100k screaming fans at Wembley Stadium in London?

    Talking Re: Hatton Vs Pacman

I will still vote for Pacquiao. If he will be consistent with what he have started, he will definitely beat Hatton. However, we can't take for granted what Hatton is in store for him. Definitely, Hitman will give Pacman a really good HIT and I hope Pacman will not eat him alive.

Give us a good fight guys, we are counting on this one! Whoosh...
